Welcome to Metadata Fix! This guide will help you get started with managing face region metadata in your images.

What is Metadata Fix?

Metadata Fix is a web-based application designed for photographers, genealogists, and media professionals who need to:

  • Tag and identify people in photos
  • Manage face region metadata
  • Edit image metadata (EXIF, XMP, IPTC)
  • Export images with professional metadata standards

Quick Start Workflow

  1. Login - Access your account at https://app.metadatafix.com
  2. Upload - Select and upload an image (up to 20MB)
  3. Detect - Run AI face detection or add regions manually
  4. Edit - Tag people and edit metadata
  5. Save - Export with your preferred settings
